Virgin Mobile LG Stylo 2 phones started getting the Android 7.0 (Nougat) update this week. That was a pleasant surprise for me, since most of my mid-tier smart phones haven’t gotten major updates. The install size was approximately 1 GB, and it took about 40 minutes for the install to complete.

Now Stylo 2 users can experience the new features of Android Nougat, including: Using and viewing 2 apps at the same time, including viewing 2 Chrome tabs, lock screen having it’s own wallpaper, source of apk, and bundled notifications. These new features are working well on the Stylo 2.
